About the event
In Washington state, there are several species of wild mushrooms that contain psilocybin, such as Psilocybe azurescens and cyanescens. However, these mushrooms can be confused with far less safe and even toxic mushrooms.
Luke Towns is a professional mushroom farmer and experienced forager. As we enter into mushroom foraging season, Luke is offering this presentation on how to identify common species of entheogenic mushrooms and distinguish them from other, non-edible species.
This talk is intended to foster safety, responsibility, and awareness within our community regarding locally harvested entheogenic mushrooms and to provide education to our community as a form of harm reduction.
