About the event
Please join us in creating a welcoming space in the recovery world for sharing information and stories about the ways psychedelics, especially when used with care and paired with community support, can aid in recovery pathways.
This weekly, one-hour Psychedelics in Recovery support group, hosted by PTPS at the Jefferson County Recovery Cafe, includes 12-step education but also welcomes all recovery approaches. It also shares the Recovery Cafe philosophy that we are all in recovery from something, so anyone interested in a recovery journey is encouraged to participate.
In addition to community building, the primary purpose of Psychedelics in Recovery groups is to "pursue recovery and help others do the same, as defined by the individual. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from our addictive behaviors and/or an interest in psychedelics as an aid to our process of recovery. Our members either have had prior experience with, or are interested in, integrating the intentional use of psychedelics and/or plant medicines into our spiritually-oriented program."
